About the Role
The Project Manager oversees, reviews, and enhances current processes and tools and works together with stakeholders to suggest and integrate solutions. The Project Manager facilitates planning and acts as a planning coach for one or more cross-disciplinary teams or Kanban teams and acts as a point of contact with 3rd parties (external QA, outsourcing, platform holders etc).
Responsibilities
Ensure or define process and system quality improvements by applying best practices and relevant techniques
Define and carry out best management methods and practices + contribute to their development and execution
Partner with managers to determine the resources required by teams + ensure knowledge transfer.
Participate in implementing appropriate methodologies for effective project management that meets quality standards, budgets, and deadlines.
Understand the workflow processes and inter- and intra-departmental relations + collaborate with in-house partner services to coordinate and facilitate the application of optimal solutions
Perform proactive follow-ups, ensuring adequate communication between collaborators
Regularly communicate progress status to project stakeholders, escalating risks when need be
Guide project initiatives + close projects (create reports and post-mortems, etc.)
Create and hold presentations for the team or external collaborators as needed
Requirements
At least 3 years experience in project management (or other relevant experience)
Knowledge of continuous process improvement approaches
Experience with Agile methodologies
Scrummaster certification is a plus
Ability to define and manage priorities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to collaborate well and advise people
Ability to influence change + anticipate blockers and find creative solutions to remove them
Innovative mindset that drives you to explore and bring about new ways of doing things
Excellent organizational skills
